Do you know who she is?
It’s actually not hard, because she’s not trying to hide. She is Natsu Hinata, a long-time exclusive actress for the production company Kawaii. On X (https://x.com/natsu_hinata_tp), her name is still “ひなたなつ” which translates to Hinata Natsu, so she is still herself.
But she might soon not be herself anymore!
In a recent post, she said she was “back,” which likely has some deeper meaning behind it, right?
Why do I say this? Just observe; unless it’s a secondary account, actresses usually use their stage names for their social media. So when this actress changed her name from Hinata Natsu to ひなたなつ, it signals that something has changed. Think I’m overanalyzing? Here’s another piece of evidence: not only did her stage name change, but her ID also changed from “@natsu_hinata_44” to “natsu_hinata_tp,” and the part in her bio stating “currently with ㈱フォーティフォーマネジメント” is gone…
Wow, all of the “44” has been removed—she’s just one step away from officially announcing a change in agencies!
First, let’s talk about the removal of “44” and the switch to “tp.” The only thing that comes to mind is T-Powers, a large agency. However, since the actress hasn’t confirmed this and the agency hasn’t announced anything yet, I won’t jump to conclusions just yet. Also, changing her ID on X and her stage name to a different version, ひなたなつ, seems to indicate that she won’t continue her AV career under the same name. After all, we all know that 44, just like other small agencies, can be quite stingy. For example, when actress Mirei Shinonome wanted to leave, they changed her passwords so she couldn’t access her social media. It’s not surprising they wouldn’t let her continue using her stage name.
Moreover, the long-standing issues between Hinata Natsu and agency 44 are just as unpleasant as they are persistent. Since her debut, Natsu has consistently been an exclusive actress for Kawaii, but her relationship with the agency has soured in recent years. She has repeatedly complained about unpaid wages and being ignored, while the agency seems to only care about new talent and neglects her contract renewal. This has led some people to label her as a difficult actress. However, I genuinely think she has valid reasons for her complaints. Yet, some still criticize her, asking why she doesn’t just leave.
Previously, Natsu explained that leaving wasn’t as easy as people thought, but it seems she’s finally ready to make that leap.
If she really is leaving, I wish Hinata Natsu the best—she deserves to be treated well!
