She’s done!
Ema Chizuru, the Japanese-Australian AV actress known for her impressive figure and debut with SOD STAR, has just announced her retirement. She revealed that after December 23, she will no longer be working as an AV actress and expressed gratitude for all the support she’s received over the years.
Wait, why December 23? Why not finish out 2024 and retire on December 31?
The answer is simple: on December 23, Ema Chizuru will be hosting her final event at SOD LAND. That marks the official end of her AV career. Once that event is over, she plans to drop the title of AV actress altogether. Since there won’t be any shoots or events in the last 8 days of the year, retiring early means she won’t need to upload selfies, respond to fan messages, or even maintain her social media presence. She can simply close her accounts if she chooses.
Why is she retiring? Ema Chizuru didn’t give a detailed reason. However, she mentioned in her statement that she’s been in the industry for three years since joining an agency (though her actual time as an actress has been two and a half years). This is a significant amount of time in the AV industry, and if her release schedule has slowed down and event appearances have decreased, it makes sense for her to start considering if she should continue. Despite this, her unique appeal—her Western appearance, fair skin, and tall G-cup figure (standing at 166 cm)—set her apart from other actresses. This made her an immediate standout when she debuted, earning her an exclusive contract with SOD STAR.
However, Ema Chizuru’s time as an exclusive actress was relatively short, amounting to only seven films. By last summer, she shifted to working as a freelance actress to increase her release volume. Fans know that this often involves appearing in compilation videos or anonymous amateur-style projects. Even without her name displayed, her distinctive appearance made her easy to recognize.
Unfortunately, despite her efforts, she didn’t release a large number of films. Otherwise, she might have continued for a bit longer. Nonetheless, we are grateful for her two and a half years in the industry and wish her all the best in her retirement!
