Remember when I mentioned that Kanan Amamiya would announce the next step in her AV career on January 7th? At the time, I thought the best agency for her would be Attackers. Of course, I knew that Moodyz was a top-tier agency, but it had been a while since they signed any actress from another agency. The last two actresses to switch were “Arina Shin” and “Unpai”—one is known for her stunning legs and the other is a TikTok sensation. It didn’t seem like Kanan Amamiya would get the same treatment.
But then, a miracle happened!
On February 4, 2025, Kanan Amamiya became officially signed to Moodyz as an exclusive actress!
I was shocked at first, and then very happy for her. After three years with SOD Star, she’s now signed with another major label. It’s a huge step up. But why did Moodyz sign her? No wonder Kanan Amamiya is so excited about the new chapter in her AV career. In many ways, I think this is an upgrade for her. As for the first work of her new contract, what’s it about? Moodyz took inspiration from Madonna’s style, allowing Kanan to get used to the environment. It starts with a simple scenario, focusing on intense, unrelenting scenes. The movie shows Kanan being relentlessly pursued, with solo scenes turning into group scenes with three men at once. Every shot is aimed perfectly at her, resulting in an incredible climax that is said to be the “strongest ever.”
I believe that signing with Moodyz is the main reason Kanan Amamiya is so excited about her next steps. While moving to Attackers might have given her more opportunities to showcase her acting skills, in the world of AV, it’s the status that matters most.
