In January 2025, Madonna, a well-known studio specializing in “wife-themed” films, is bringing us an emotionally charged drama that had me on the verge of tears. The movie title translates to: “The Night Before Proposing to My Girlfriend: ‘From Tomorrow, We’ll Be in a Double Adultery’—Losing Myself in Forbidden Passion With My Childhood Friend.” The plot revolves around the conflicted life of the protagonist, Saho Hanzo, a man caught between his girlfriend and his childhood friend, Akari Tsumugi.
Saho has been dating Nao, a co-worker, for a while, and they’re already at the stage of planning a proposal. He buys the engagement ring and decides to propose the next day. But just as he’s set on his plan, his childhood friend Akari Tsumugi gives him an unexpected call.
A Drunken Phone Call That Changes Everything
Akari, drunk and stranded without her wallet, asks Saho to come and rescue her. Being indecisive and unable to refuse her request, Saho lies to his girlfriend, claiming he’s meeting a male friend, and rushes to help Akari. He books a hotel room so they can continue drinking, but just as he’s about to leave, Akari grabs his hand and asks him to stay a little longer.
And then, things escalate.
The Start of Double Adultery
From the stills, it’s clear Akari is wearing a wedding ring, making her a married woman. This is why the title mentions “double adultery”—not only is Saho about to become a husband after his proposal, but Akari is also intent on continuing their forbidden affair. The chemistry between them heats up, and their passion reaches its peak. Saho performs so well on his proposal-eve tryst that Akari is left in ecstasy.
Seven Years of Stardom and a New Chapter
Akari Tsumugi is celebrating her seventh year in the industry with back-to-back releases from two major studios. Personally, I’ve grown more fond of her work with Madonna for its compelling plots. Her acting has matured significantly, making her the perfect fit for these intense roles. Akari can seamlessly transition between being a helpless damsel, an eager seductress, and a confident femme fatale—all in one movie.
Though she’s still affectionately called the “Universe’s Cutest Girl” at events like the TRE Taipei International Adult Expo, her more mature persona is evident. She’s now better suited to wife-themed dramas, and her performance in this movie proves it.
A Seductive Tale of Love and Lust
In this film, Akari and Saho’s first encounter happens under the influence of alcohol, but their relationship evolves into a deeper connection fueled by desire. In one scene from the preview, Akari is shown smearing Saho’s chest with the semen he just released on her—a bold and intimate gesture that hit my sweet spot. For me, this was even more captivating than her standard oral release scenes.
And, in the climax of the film, when they run out of protection, Saho goes all the way and finishes inside.
Timeless Appeal
Even after seven years in the industry and countless collaborations, Akari Tsumugi still captivates me. Her performances never fail to stir emotions, and her charm only seems to grow with time. While she’s undoubtedly busy, I can’t help but hope she continues gracing the screen with her stunning presence.
