The confusion comes from the fact that Julia, a well-known AV actress, released a film under the name “Kyouka” back in 2010. Since then, that name has stuck with her in Chinese-speaking circles. However, in Japan, Julia has always been Julia, and the name “Kyouka” is a thing of the past. Call out for “Kyouka” on the street, and she probably wouldn’t even look back.
