Have you watched S1’s grand collaboration, “S1 PRECIOUS GIRLS 2024 All-Star 24 Girls Gathering Harem Island Special”?
As this is a special 20th-anniversary production, it’s only fitting that I bought the official Blu-ray. Lately, I rarely purchase Blu-rays anymore—mainly, I consume content on FANZA’s streaming platform. The reasons are simple: my kids are growing, and we just don’t have space for physical discs anymore. Plus, all the machines for playing DVDs have either broken down or disappeared, so streaming is the only way to go now.
Let me first share my purchase proof, then we can dive into something interesting about this production—Kawakita Saika.

Kawakita Saika’s Unique Role in the Film
Do you remember when Kawakita Saika posted on X (formerly Twitter) saying that this would be her first and last all-star collaboration? In the promotional video, you can see that during the chaotic group scene, she separates from the rest of the cast, leaving fans wondering: what exactly happens in the movie?
Well, I didn’t guess correctly! Let’s start with the group competition. Kawakita, along with Kinmatsu Koi and Honjo Ai, performs together. While their photos suggest they all share the frame, not long after, the three of them start playing rock-paper-scissors. Kawakita wins and “gets the exclusive” with the male actor, while Kinmatsu and Honjo step aside. Then, during the final chaotic scene, just as we saw in the promo video, the other actresses perform together downstairs while Kawakita takes on the male actor alone upstairs.
This development is sure to spark some debate. Some may even have less-than-kind things to say. Personally, I think this outcome was a result of careful discussions between the production company and Kawakita. What she said on social media was spot on—she has never wanted to participate in group performances. She was never comfortable with the idea of performing in an ensemble. But since this was such an important 20th-anniversary project, as the leading actress of the industry, it would have felt odd for her not to participate. So, it seems the two sides negotiated a solution.

The Agreement Between S1 and Kawakita Saika
What we saw in the movie reflects the compromise they reached. First, it was agreed that everyone would shoot beautiful photo moments together, and Kawakita would participate in things like running on the beach with the others. However, she didn’t need to be in the center of every shot. When it came to the sex scenes, the deal was clear: Kawakita would only appear briefly with Kinmatsu Koi and Honjo Ai. In all other intimate moments, she would perform solo, without any interaction with the other actresses.
Some might ask, why go through all that trouble? Why not just not participate?

Why Kawakita Saika Still Took Part
But the reason is simple: as I mentioned earlier, this was a special 20th-anniversary production, and S1, as the industry leader, had to have her. It was pretty clear that she wasn’t interested in performing in a group, but as the industry icon she is, her presence was non-negotiable. I personally think a better solution would have been for her to act as the host for the different groups, introducing each scene. However, that wouldn’t have matched her usual image.
Since she didn’t perform alongside the others, I’m sure the other 23 actresses were aware of her absence. I spoke privately with three of the actresses from this film, and all of them mentioned that the most memorable part was Kawakita Saika.
Of course, given Japanese culture, no one would directly confront Kawakita about this. And as she’s no longer performing in ensemble scenes, even in five years’ time, I doubt the 25th-anniversary production will be able to coax her back.

Conclusion: The Compromise Left a Strange Feeling
In the end, even though S1 made sure to include Kawakita in the project, the way it was executed—isolating her for the final scenes—felt a bit odd. While the approach worked for the film, something about her solo scenes just didn’t seem right. It’s clear that even though they wanted her in the film, they couldn’t quite get her to fully let go and join in the chaos.
